b 1967 in Tokyo (Japan); studies at the Bunka Fashion College, Tokyo; works as designer and model; 1988 move to London (GB) and studies at the Byam Shaw School of Art and the Chelsea College of Art; 1992/93 participates in the «Independent Study Program» of the Whitney Museum of American Art; lives and works in New York and Tokyo.
