b 1956 in Berlin; studied Art at the Hochschule für Bildende Kunst (College of Visual Art), Hamburg; since 1977, experimental work with film and video; 1986-90 edited the video magazine «Infermental»; 1986-92 work in the culture laboratory FRIGO and Radio Bellevue, Lyon (F); since 1986, cooperation with Andreas Coerper under the name Raskin; since 1992, author/editor in the studio Turner & Tailor, Berlin; since 1992, cooperation with Weltbild Berlin; 1992-95, Instructor in Video Art/New Media at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts, Nancy (F); 1995-97 Guest Professor, Hochschule der Künste (College of Arts), Berlin; lives and works in Hamburg and Berlin.
