Christine Buci-Glucksmann
Philosopher and Professor for Aesthetics and Contemporary Art at the Université Paris VIII (F); author of numerous texts and publications, a. o. «La folie du voir. De l’estethique baroque» (1986), «Tragique de l’ombre. Shakespeare et le manierisme» (1990), «Gramsci et l'Etat« (1975) as well as «Baroque Reason: The Aesthetics of Modernity» (1984, Engl. 1994) and «Le sexe virtuel» (1998); her current work focusses on abstraction and the aesthetics of the virtual; lives and works in Paris.
