Wolf Vostell
«Early Works with TV»
Wolf Vostell claims to have been working artistically with TV since 1958. However, this assertion is disputed in the specialist literature, and it is not possible to establish the exact dates of his early TV works. At all events, Vostell first publicly presented his ‘TV Dé-coll/age’ works in New York directly after visiting Paik’s ‘Exposition of Music – Electronic Television’ show in Wuppertal in 1963.
